Start a P4C Group

What can be more fun than getting a group of your friends together to make a difference in the world? By starting a P4C group you can help create change in your school, community and globally. Your group can:

Advocate for change: Telling your story to someone (usually a decision-maker such as a politician) with the goal of inspiring that person to take action. For example, if you ask your parents to increase your allowance, explaining the reasons you want more money, you are advocating for yourself.

Raise awareness of a cause: It’s an important part of any group but it can also be the goal. Explaining and educating people about a problem is important because once people know more about an issue, or that it exists at all, they can become motivated to take action.

Fundraise: Raising money for your cause can be a great goal for your group. Even small amounts of money can go a long way towards improving the lives of children. For example, raising $12 will buy mango trees to feed children and keep them in school; or, $15 will provide classroom supplies for a child.

Get started today. Click one of the buttons below, and follow the instructions to create your group or girls club. Don’t worry if you don’t know all the answers, you can always edit it later!
