I am in Geneva for the 20th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child!

Hey everyone!

 

I’m Taylor, your Canadian youth reporter for the 20^th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in Geneva, Switzerland. I’m proud to represent!

 

I just arrived in Geneva yesterday. I stayed up for 30 hours to adjust my internal clock, and now I’m ready to go. Jet lag won’t stop me!

 

Excitement is fuelling me! Today and tomorrow we’re staying one hour outside of Geneva in neighbouring France for the youth preparatory meeting. The youth power team is preparing a participation strategy for the official 20^th Anniversary of the CRC which will be held in Geneva on October 8^th and 9^th. There are 15 youth delegates and 8 youth reporters representing 16 different countries from around the world. Incredible! The hum of different languages is always in the air!
