The truth.

I wrote a blog, my first blog a while back. I'm not an avid blogger but I do love to write so I gave it a chance! It was a great day for me so as I sat in front of my father's computer screen I wondered upon what I should write about. I knew it should somehow introduce who I was and the only thing I could think of was how I became the leader, the person that I was on that 'happy' day. And how did I become that leader? The truth is that it was because of Because I am a Girl's Girl's Speakers Bureau. No, no.. I am definitely not juicing this. I don't suck up to organizations, campaigns, people or really just anything in general. Honesty is my best and worst quality. So as I was saying, I began to write about how being apart of this group of amazing young women really changed my life. At first it was interesting and intimidating, but as I began to feel comfortable and 'one' with the rest I began to realize my own potential. The girl I was before the Girls Speakers Bureau was one I had never really been proud of. The only thing that really changed was the fact that I began to fully appreciate myself and highlight all that made me special. Get that? Not weird!
