Millions of people struggle to meet their most basic daily needs, leaving them extremely vulnerable to any kind of emergency. Children are often the first to feel the effects, being forced to go hungry or leave school to earn an income for their family.

Plan works with children, their families and communities to overcome poverty by helping them find ways of making money, helping them become more resilient and better able to cope in times of economic difficulty.

We also help young people acquire the skills and knowledge they need to earn an income to support their families and break the cycle of poverty.
