Welcome to the example Village of Hope class page!

By signing up to the Village of Hope program, you will gain access to the monthly curriculum based toolkits and the village map with Gift of Hope cutouts. The toolkits will allow teachers to integrated global issues into the classroom and give students a tangible activity to take action about what they learn.

The "Challenge" part of the Village of Hope Challenge is the ability for classes to compete against one another to build the ultimate Village of Hope. We will be posting the top ten fundraising classes/schools for the month and the top 10 overall at planyouth.ca/village-of-hope. We hope this will drive some healthy competition - and we hope you do too!

When you create the Village of Hope page for your class or school, you will be able to set a fundraising goal. By setting a goal your page will gain access to a thermometer on your page to show your progress against this goal. If you don't have a goal when you first create your page but then decide afterwards you want to set a goal don't worry! Just go to the "edit" tab below the name of your class and you can change the details of your page, including your fundraising goal.
