My name is Czarina and I am a Filipino. I moved to Canada recently and I am so happy to see small steps that make a huge difference to the Philippines. Philippines is a developing country and education is limited to those who are less fortunate. I hope that this learning center makes a huge contribution in educating the youth in Samar. Back home, I was blessed for I had the opportunity to study in a private school while other children are forced to beg money along the sidewalks to fill their stomachs with food. I hope more learning centers will open to help and provide education to those who cannot afford to go to school.
