Bio: Wieke, an enthusiastic journalist and dedicated activist, was born in the Netherlands on the 25th of February 1991. Wieke is a Dutch youth representative for European Affairs on behalf of the Dutch National Youth Council and a board member of Youth Coalition, working internationally for sexual and reproductive rights. Furthermore, Wieke works as a freelance journalist. In 2006, Wieke became a member of the Youth Board of Plan Netherlands, for which she uses media as a tool to spread information and reach out to her peers. Wieke is actively involved in advocating for child rights and wrote the first Plan Netherlands youth advisory paper
