[video] This film was made to mark the launch of the 2009 Because I am a Girl report entitled "Girls in the global economy: Adding it all up". The report focuses on the issues that girls and young women face growing up in the 21st century economic climate. While girls and young women are the least likely to survive, be fed, go to school, or stay healthy, the current financial slowdown has made the situation even worse.
