Out of the shadows of war: Girls in Liberia

[video] This short film was made to accompany Plans 2008 report entitled 'Because I Am A Girl: In The Shadow of War', which focuses on girls and conflict.
The film meets three girls who suffered at the hands of rebel soldiers during Liberia's civil war and have been receiving psychosocial counselling treatment from Plan.
By confronting difficult memories and using different medication techniques, the girls are slowly coming to terms with their traumatic experience.
